On Sunday 14 March for the first time, especally for Mothers' Day, the castle offered afternoon tea and a free icing demonstration by Eric Drummond showing how the experts produce rose decorations. .

The tea shop was kept very busy all the afternoon with over 100 teas being served. The icing demonstration was much appreciated as was the excellent baking, which earned high praise from the visitors for the skill of our chef.

Overall it was a very succesful afternoon and we are sure it will become a yearly event.
