EASTER AT THE CASTLE

The Castle and Gardens of Mey were again opened for the Easter holiday weekend this year from the 2nd to 5th April 10.30 to 4 pm.

The second Family Fun Day took place on Easter Sunday. Fortunately, the weathe changed in time for the afternoon events and 75 children took part in th egg hunt. Decorated eggs were judged by James Murray and this year there was also an Easter Bonnet competition.

Decorated eggs

It was generally colder and wetter than last year but around 300 people visited and it was a most successful week-end.
